About ROCK FOR A CURE

I became involved with the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation (DTRF) to help find a cure for my mom. Since her diagnosis, I've learned so much about this rare disease through serving on the DTRF Board of Directors.

About The Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation

The Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation (DTRF) aggressively funds desmoid tumor research, accelerates the development of improved therapies, drives collaborations among clinicians and researchers worldwide, and support patients and doctors through education.

Our goal is to find a cure for each and every patient diagnosed with this rare disease.

Currently, DTRF is funding grants to discover why some desmoid tumors spontaneously regress (shrink). This is an unpredictable phenomenon unique to this type of tumor.
Current DTRF-funded research grants aim to provide insight into the biomarkers that trigger desmoids to essentially cure themselves, which may allow for development of new treatments for the disease.
